Worship & Intercession

Declaring the victory of the Lord Yeshua over the spiritual darkness of our day

Green Hills

Video of Karen talking about worship goes here  with youtube link below

Positioned on the top of Mount Carmel where the prophet Elijah once confronted the false gods of his age, we have been called to "shout unto God with a voice of triumph," (Ps. 47:1), declaring the victory of the Lord Yeshua over the spiritual darkness of our day. Knowing that the Lord dwells in the praises of His people (Ps. 22:3), our times of corporate praise and worship are a key element in releasing His manifest presence in our gatherings and in the life of our community.

As we all drink from the river of life "that flows from the sanctuary" (Ez. 47:12), we are empowered for our works of service that bring healing and comfort to the people of our Land.

Worship Watch

The Mount Carmel Worship Watch (MCWW), with weekly sessions of intercessory worship, is an expression of the founding vision and mandate of Kehilat HaCarmel to restore the altar of the Lord on Mt. Carmel in the legacy of Elijah (1 Kings 18:30-32). Drawing worship teams and intercessors from Israel and the nations, together we offer up spiritual sacrifices of praise, proclamation, and prayer on this strategic high place in northern Israel. As we stand in unity as the “one new man” of Jews and Arabs, and Gentiles from the nations, we are “making known to the principalities and powers of darkness, the manifold wisdom of God” (Ephesians 3:10).

In these end-times, we are being called as watchmen, to “position ourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord” (2 Chronicles 20:17). From the top of Mt. Carmel, our corporate worship and declarations become a “shield of faith,” pushing back the spiritual forces that threaten the Lord’s purposes for the nation of Israel. Truly we are hearing “the sound of the abundance of rain” (1 Kings 18:41) as the heavens are opening over northern Israel.

If you believe the Lord is calling you to participate as an individual or as a group in the MCWW, please email us. [Additional watches can be scheduled as well in our Elijah Prayer Cave, situated underneath our main sanctuary.]

Rosh Chodesh

As a congregation we have aligned ourselves with God’s biblical calendar of “moedim,” those special appointed times to bring our offerings of praise and worship, our “sacrifices of thanksgiving,” to the God of Israel, Adonai Elohim, according to the Hebrew scriptures. In addition to our weekly Shabbats and the annual biblical feasts of the Lord, we also include in our celebrations the monthly Rosh Chodesh. Some of the key scriptural references (in English translations referred to as “new moons”) can be found in 1 Chron. 23:31; 2 Chron. 2:4; 2 Chron. 8:13; Neh. 10:33; Ezek. 45:17.

Please join us for these special monthly worship celebrations, either in person in the Kehilat HaCarmel worship center, or in our livestreams on our YouTube channel.
