"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden" (Mt. 5:14).

Located on top of Mount Carmel, the Or HaCarmel ("Light of Carmel") Ministry Center is a residential community established upon faith in God's word and the power of His Spirit to transform lives. The goal of the center is to be a demonstration of God's love to the people of Israel and to impart an understanding of His sovereign purposes to the nations. "I will also make You a light of the nations so that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth" (Is. 49:6).

At Or HaCarmel, our staff is dedicated to building up the community and to serving others as they live and grow together. Since its beginning in 2002, the center has become a place for the development and launching of new projects and areas of service to those in need.

Or HaCarmel is also the headquarters for the Mount Carmel School of Ministry, a 12-day intensive study tour of Israel for believers from various nations. We have seen many lives impacted by their experience in Israel and interaction with the residents of our community.
