Daniel Sayag was born and raised in a traditional Jewish home in Israel. While serving in the Israeli army, he had an encounter with the God of Israel, and received Yeshua into his life as Messiah. Since then, he has spent much time studying both the Tanach (“Old Testament”) and the New Testament, including earning a degree in pastoral training from Israel College of the Bible. In 2000, he was installed as a pastor of Kehilat HaCarmel, and in 2009, Daniel planted a daughter congregation, Kehilat Kerem El, which meets in central Haifa at Beit Yedidia. In 2016, Daniel was installed as Lead Pastor of Kehilat HaCarmel.
He also loves working with wood, and has a small business, “Kerem Creations,” which incorporates wood-working together with the living Word of God. Daniel lives on Mount Carmel with his wife LuAnne, who oversees the women’s ministries and leads worship in both Kehilat HaCarmel and Kerem El. God has blessed them with three daughters, two son-in-laws, three granddaughters, a grandson, and two dogs.
